The School and its aims

St Boniface School is first and foremost a Catholic School. The Parish established the school so that there could be a three way partnership of Home, Parish and School.  We work within the partnership to help you bring up your child as a committed and caring Catholic.

We want all children in our school to be happy, so that they can learn effectively.  As a Christian and Catholic school we want each child to grow up knowing, loving and serving God.To do this we work closely with the Parish Priest. Together we provide many      opportunities for the spiritual development of all our pupils. There will be many occasions when you, the parents can share in them as well. Love of God is shown by the real care and consideration we have for the needs of others. This means the school promotes equal opportunities for all at St Boniface.

We recognise that children come to school with a wide range of talents and abilities.  We want to discover, use and develop them to the full. We work to help children achieve the highest academic standards of which they are capable. We expect children to have a sound basis in all aspects of language and mathematics. The full range of National Curriculum subjects is taught according to each child’s needs. Where children do find school work difficult we do our best to help them overcome their problems.
