



The wearing of school uniform helps to create a sense of community and belonging to the school. It helps to create a positive image of the school and its pupils. It fosters a sense of orderliness. For these reasons the Governors have made the wearing of school uniform compulsory.
The uniform is as follows:-
Boys Navy blue or dark grey trousers
Pale blue shirt or polo shirt
Navy blue pullover or sweatshirt with logo
Sensible school shoes must be worn
Girls Navy blue skirt or pinafore dress
Pale blue blouse or polo shirt
Navy cardigan or sweatshirt with logo
Navy blue trousers may be worn in cold weather
as can plain navy or black tights.
Sensible school shoes must be worn
The style of skirts / trousers must be recommended uniform style as bought from a uniform supplier. No high fashion / labelled or embellished items may be worn. Plain navy blue jogging pants are permitted at Foundation Stage only, for practical purposes.
For games / PE lessons school supplies shorts and “T” shirts with the school logo printed on. Parent / Guardians’s need to supply pumps / trainers for the lessons.
The Junior children have weekly swimming lessons.Year 3 children go every week for the whole year and Years 4, 5 and 6 do a term each. Boys must wear swimming trunks and girls must wear a one piece costume for swimming. For safety reasons long hair must be tied back and goggles are not permitted unless a doctors note is supplied.

Jewellery
The wearing of all jewellery is not permitted for health and safety reasons. The only earrings which can be worn in school are small studs. ALL OTHER EARRINGS ARE NOT ALLOWED as they can easily become entangled in clothes and accidents can happen during play. The school will not accept any responsibility for loss of jewellery or accidents that occur because jewellery has been worn.
Hair
It is recommended that girls hair be tied back for health and safety reasons. Boys hairstyles should be no shorter than a number 3 and no patterns.
